Transactions are made in good faith and under the normal course of our business, in accordance with
the general terms and practices of the Jewellery Trade.
Ornaments must be checked by customers for both pieces and weight before taking delivery.
Gold jewellery, being delicate in nature, is not covered for damage or breakage after delivery. The
company may repair the item, if possible, at prevailing service charges, but will not exchange the
product. There is no durability guarantee as such.
The value of gold will be ascertained based on the net weight of gold and the prevailing exchange
rate. Net weight of the gold will be determined after deducting the weights of any/all pearls, stones,
lac, dust, and dirt.
The exchange value will be ascertained after melting the jewellery offered for exchange. The gold
exchange value will be based on the applicable gold rate on the date of exchange.
No cash refunds are permissible against the exchange of non-Shree Ashoka Jewellery. Cash refunds will
be processed only for amounts below the government-prescribed threshold. Amounts exceeding this limit
will be refunded by account payee cheque or NEFT/RTGS to the customer’s name, and this process may take
at least 3 working days.
In the case of buyback or exchange of gold ornaments, the customer undertakes that he/she is the
legal and absolute owner of the concerned gold ornaments.
Any disputes arising shall be referred to arbitration and are strictly subject to Bhadrak
jurisdiction only.
The customer, whether purchaser or seller, has read and agreed to the above-mentioned terms and
conditions before entering into any transaction.
